Why is the nitrogen molecule (N2) largely unreactive under normal atmospheric conditions?
Because nitrogen atoms have a full outer electron shell individually
Because it has a strong triple bond between the two nitrogen atoms making it very stable
Because nitrogen molecules are constantly breaking apart and reforming in the atmosphere
